Sources

Every quantitative claim is backed by a reliable source. We are not limited to a fixed list: we search wherever the number lives and use whatever genuinely supports a claim, but we never cite an unreliable source. A source we have not seen before is checked for reachability, transparency, reputation, and freedom from bias or fabrication before it can back a claim.

Skip, do not assume

If a figure has no concrete, reliable source, we drop it. We do not estimate, round from memory, or infer a number to fill a gap. A missing figure is better than an unsupported one.

Evenhandedness

On contested topics we present each side's case at full strength, attributed to who makes it, and let the reader judge. The house frame sits above the fight.
